Our presenter Tony Gibbs shows how to create meaningful relationships with corporate partners with practical examples of how to ensure that your not-for-profit group stands out from everyone else.
Tony will share how he is consistently successful in securing the support of businesses, explaining in practical terms the steps to take including:
- Why asking for money is the wrong thing to do.
- The importance of relationships.
- Using the right language.
- Clarifying the opportunities for a business to give you goods in kind as well as volunteers.
- Securing sustainable donations from the corporate sector.
You will leave this workshop with the tools and techniques to use, as well as being inspired to approach businesses to support your organisation.
About the Presenter: Tony Gibbs
Tony Gibbs has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management and has held leadership positions in the voluntary sector for over twenty years as well as a similar period of time in senior roles in the corporate sector. He has also over forty years experience as a trustee and volunteer with charities of all size. Tony is Chief Executive Officer of Serve.
