About the Presenter: Jasmine Matthews

Jasmine works within the Co-op Community and Member Participation Team as a Member Activator, creating opportunities for members to engage with their communities on the matters that mean most to them.

She develops physical and online networks with groups and charities supported through Co-op funding, as well as businesses and organizations working independently in their community.

As a resident of Northamptonshire and a former teacher, she has a good understanding of the social and economic issues creating barriers for many within our community. She looks forward to showcasing Co-op’s impact as a funder within Northamptonshire and expanding the network of beneficiaries. For example, since 2017, they have funded 370 grants with a total of £982,000. Their future goals include increasing member participation and supporting new community programs focused on their vision and strategy.
